Who we are

SEAM, Inc. is a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit created with the vision to help businesses make a positive social impact on the world through their commercial real estate. SEAM is an impact-driven, membership-based nonprofit. Our EIN number: 84-5054317.

What information do we collect?

Information we obtain about you directly

We collect information about you that you voluntarily provide to us when you register and participate in activities using our Services, when you contact us or express an interest in obtaining information about us or our Services, or otherwise engage with us. We are generally the "Data Controller" as defined by relevant data protection laws. However, we also process information on behalf of our customers as a "Data Processor" according to their instructions. In these cases, our customer is acting as the Data Controller and is responsible for any personal information entered into the Services according to the Data Processing Addendum and our Terms and Conditions.

Who we share your personal information with

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone.

In delivering the Services, we may engage third-party contractors, service providers, consultants, or agents and may share your information to perform that work. In these cases, contracts are in place to help safeguard your information. They will only use information as instructed by us and will not share it with other organizations. Where we store your information

Your personal information is primarily stored on servers in the US. If data needs to be transferred outside the US or to areas with less strict data protection laws, we take legally required steps to ensure adequate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep your personal information

We keep your information for as long as necessary to perform the purposes outlined in this privacy notice, except where a longer retention period is required by law (e.g., tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your information, we will delete, anonymize, or securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible. User account personal information will not be stored for longer than twelve months past the start of the idle period of the account.
